I’m Llewellyne Arden, and I believe the path to a joyful life is paved by our ability to discover, sit with, move through, and embrace our whole selves. I also believe that yoga, meditation, Ayurveda and breathwork are conduits for that path.

What is
Yoga Therapy?
Yoga is about so much more than being bendy. It’s about connecting with all of your parts, your physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual selves.
Yoga Therapy is a collaborative and progressive process I use to help you do just that.
Through movement, breath, meditation practices, and Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle considerations, I work with my clients to tailor each practice to suite their unique needs.
After 27 years as a yoga practitioner, teacher and guide I continue to consider myself a life-long learner. It’s because of my thirst for deep understanding that I carry a wide variety of experience, training and certifications:
- 200 Hour Teacher Training and Apprenticeships with Senior Iyengar teacher Felicity Green
- 300 Hour Yoga Teacher certification, Essential Yoga Therapy (EYT)
- 1000 Hour Yoga Therapist certification, International Association of Yoga Therapists
- Certified Buteyko Breathing Instructor, Buteyko Clinic International
- Somatic Movement Instructor in training, Somatic Movement Center
- Faculty mentor for Essential Yoga Therapy teacher and therapist certifications
- Birth Doula certification of completion, Bastyr University Simkin Center
- Yoga for Parkinson’s teacher training, NW Parkinson’s Foundation

"I highly recommend Llewellyne's All-Levels online Yoga class for busy professionals who need a mid-morning respite. I found the experience rejuvenating and easy to follow. Llewellyne's explanation of the poses is educational and I received real-time feedback. I love having the option to do Yoga in my home with a highly trained teacher."
Kate Huckabay
Leadership Consultant
I have studied yoga with Llewellyne for over ten years and I admire her dedication toward advancing her own practice as well as that of her students. She knows the strengths and weaknesses of each of her students and helps us to know ourselves and adapt our practice to get the most benefit for our bodies. After every class I feel calm and centered.
